Such a beautiful day to have lunch outside on the deck. Although there were a ton of pigeons nearby, they pretty much kept to themselves.

I came here with a friend for lunch because this place is pretty close to the beach (about a 9 minute drive). We ordered the Grilled Spanish Octopus as our appetizer and the Fish Tacos and Seafood Louie Salad for our entrees.

Grilled Octopus-Love this!!! I've never had octopus like this before. I think it's a mix of the paprika aioli that really brings the taste out. It's also served with potatoes.

Fish Tacos-Pretty large taco shells. Comes with a side of chips. I like how you can choose between mahi mahi, shrimp, or fried cod or you can mix it up and get 1 of each.

Seafood Salad-I feel like the salad portions nowadays are getting huge and I can hardly finish them anymore. Lol. While this salad was certainly big, it was full of everything I liked so no complaints here. The presentation was beautiful and it comes with everything: bay shrimp, red rock crab, avocado, egg, tomatoes, and cucumber. I got the dressing (thousand island) on the side. I was pretty full the rest of the day after eating this.

Overall, a really pleasant lunch. On hotter days (or if you just hate birds), I recommend eating inside near the bar area. It's air conditioned and plenty of seating.

Beautiful location on Lido Island right at the harbor that has wonderful atmosphere.   The problem is that the food is just not up to par.

Started with the Ceviche which came out watery and flavorless, mostly made up of tomatoes and onions but very little seafood.  For dinner I had the Ahi salad which was made up mostly of iceberg lettuce with a few kalamata  olives and tomatoes and Ahi that had an odd color to it and also very little flavor- just blah.  There were also entree orders for Trout that were over cooked and dry, and seafood paella that had very little seafood in it.  Very disappointing when a restaurant just doesn't put the time or effort or quality into their menu.

If I were to return it would only be for drinks in the bar-

Very disappointed in this restaurant. We used to love coming here but after this past time, I think it's a no go from us. We didn't receive any of our food for over an hour, and when we finally did, it was sub par to say the least.

I used to love the ciopinno because it had a great flavor and texture profile. This time, it was just tomato water with garlic bread and shrimp. I will admit that there was a lot of seafood overall, but it was the small bay shrimp and mainly fish. The stew itself was like Campbell's tomato soup flushed with water.

My boyfriend ordered the fish tacos. No lemon, no spice, no zest, nothing. Not even any salsa! We're in California people, we should know how to make good, flavorful tacos! He left the place finishing up the sourdough loaf they give to every table.

Mom got the Louie salad. Isn't there supposed to be seafood in it? Confused. Got like 4 shrimp, which were even SMALLER than the ones I got in my dish.

Grandma got the trout. Also lacked any flavor. So much so, she had to ask for extra lemon, extra tartar sauce AND cocktail sauce to spruce it up. Still wasn't good. Only thing that we liked about the fish was the spinach and potatoes.

Really disappointed in this place. I feel like they went downhill after they expanded. Only thing good was the bread and atmosphere.

Took my daughter here and mommy daughter date, loved It! Food was great!! Staff was friendly and nice view of the water... it's right near the boat dock, so a lot of boats near us. I thought it was cool however.

Would not come back. We wanted to like our meals, but all 5 of us were disappointed. Service was great but the food just wasn't up to par, unfortunately.
Kids spaghetti sauce was more like a chilli sauce so my son wouldn't even touch it.
